What is it?

The Mahlkönig E80W GbS is a commercially certified espresso-focused grinder. Rocking 80mm flat stainless steel burrs and a powerful 800w motor while maintaining a quietness that other cafè grinders lack. Its revolutionary Grind-by-Sync function gives you ultimate consistency and speed with each dose. The Grind-by-Sync is compatible with most La Marzocco commercial espresso machines; this system enables seamless integration through the Mahlkönig Sync and La Marzocco Pro apps. Wireless communication between the grinder and espresso machine ensures each shot is consistently exceptional—easily reproducible across locations and operable by any user. Please note: the Mahlkönig E80 GbS can be used with any espresso machine; however, the Grind-by-Sync technology is currently compatible with most commercial La Marzocco machines. In the near future, Mahlkönig will expand the list of compatible machines as more brands come on board.

The Mahlkönig E80 GbS is COMPATIBLE with: Linea Classic S, Linea PB, GB5 S, KB90, and Strada in both AV and ABR configurations

The Mahlkönig E80 GbS is NOT compatible with the La Marzocco Linea Mini, Micra, or GS3 MP & GS3 AV.

The E80W GbS is for medium to high volume cafès, catering events, coffee carts, and any commercial setting where a high-volume espresso grinder is needed.

In addition to being the most powerful and consistent espresso-focused grinder in its class, the E80W GbS is a pleasure to use when the cafè is slow or when you need shots fast and precise with no fuss. With the same software and settings as the E65W GbS, the menu screen helps you edit six recipes and change the portafilter based on that recipe. Additionally, the portafilter support and coffee chute are easily adjusted based on your portafilter style, giving you control of how your coffee is dispensed and reducing mess and coffee waste. You can also view how many shots the grinder has pulled, an essential metric for managing workflow, staff, ordering coffee, and chaining the burrs.
